I wonder how long Baht-stop allows this form of unpaid commercials from Mrs Bouqet ?
But must say a great and good new flashing web page.
All flash and no substance. All that glitters is not gold!! This week's offering decidedly ugly !
Have to agree about the unpaid commercials BTW. And on all three of the main boards as well - talk about over-kill!! - the enterprise is liable to go the same way as Niddy's Nook if it carries on like that - to die from over-exposure.

I'm still waiting for a credit on the site for my pictures.
I don't have a problem with the ads appearing on all the boards. Not everyone reads all the boards. Also, the topic listing is the same on the various boards, so there is no reason to open the topic after having seen it on another board.
However, if the site is using photos supplied by jinks, then yes, I think there should be something that credits him for the photos. Also, from the wording of jinks' post, apparently there was no prior permission to use those photos.
In my opinion, if a web site is using someone else's photos, then attribution should be provided. Also, if there is a means of contacting the photographer, then at the very least as a matter of courtesy, permission to use those photos should be sought and obtained.

If it upsets you that much, maybe Hyacinth will invite you to one of her famous candlelite dinners.
Hehehe......

But I do.
I don't think you should have the guts to post commercials on a message board without asking the moderator.
I find the behaviour of mrs Bouquet not done.
IMO.

You didn't have also a problem with the quality of Niddy's Nooks Hamburgers, you even liked them as I recall.
I think you also didn't mind the overdosis over commercials we got from this Niddy's Nook.

Boy of the week
To each his own. For me, YUK - he's extremely ugly (and I HATE tatts) !
BTW, is it plagiarism to post a photo taken from another web site and use the same attribution but without any acknowledgement to the original site ?

I have already said in a previous message. When you are in Pattaya again please call into Topman so we can speak about this issue. Theres no need keep bringing this up as it will be dealt with when we see you again.
We were given these pic's on a disc by someone in Pattaya to add to the new website. If you want your name added I can do that, no problem. Please send your details to the Topman e-mail address. I am sure I know you anyway, so dont worry, this should not be a big issue.
Thanks anyway.

To set the record straight (what a word to use on a gay message board!), I had absolutely no problem at all with the Niddy's Nook ads. Apparently a hell of a lot of other people did, but I didn't. As for the hamburgers, I never had one. I did have the cheeseburger a couple of times. After Niddy's Nook closed I admitted, on this very board I think, that I never liked the cheeseburgers and thought the price was far too high. I've been in the doghouse with the former owner of Niddy's Nook ever since. As a matter of fact I ended up in the doghouse with a few posters on this board for the same reason. I'm most likely still in it.
As for asking the moderator, how do you know whether he did or not?
Snowy - I'm with you yet again. I also dislike "tatts." I have never understood why people want to decorate their bodies with images they wouldn't be caught dead framing and placing on their wall.

Gay Thailand. We do not recommend this site. The moderators etc of this site allow personal comments to be made about third parties. AYOR.
This Topman trail over all the boards is becoming increasingly surreal. I thought that Gaybutton's resurrection of the Niddy's Nook hamburger took the biscuit until I saw the above.

I thought that Gaybutton's resurrection of the Niddy's Nook hamburger took the biscuit until I saw the above.
My resurrection? I believe it was LaSalle69 who brought that up. Pardon me all to hell for responding.
As for the "We do not recommend this site" comment, anyone who looks can see that I've been completely supportive of him. I have no idea why my support would be thanked with that comment. Maybe he'll explain why. I don't know what I ever did to him to deserve that, but it's not the first time I suddenly found myself stabbed in the back, for reasons that go beyond me, on the Internet. As far as I know, I'm the only moderator on any board who has made it crystal clear that his ads are welcomed and encouraged. I even blew off posters who tried to flame him for those ads. The gratitude expressed by the "we do not recommend" comment is really heartwarming . . .

Maybe some other members of the moderation group at your gay Thailand board haven't been completely supportive. Also I get the idea that you as a moderator are not allowed to moderate Earwig.
Thats not good. thats not good for your name as a moderator. Maybe for this reasons they think you are not completely supportive. I am sure that you would never allow the bitching which has been going on between Earwig and Topman. See the now closed treat at the gay Thailand board. Also the bitching between Earwig and Rainwalker wasn't really the way things should be moderated at a board. Maybe your board get the mark AYOR because you allow this kind of discussion which should be held in private and not on a message board.
just my two cents.

just my two cents.
I agree with you, except that the other moderators have not said anything for or against TopMan. They made no comments at all. The only comments made by any of the moderators were mine. If the comment on the TopMan site was motivated by GayThailand closing the bitch fight thread, then that's a shame. That had nothing to do with MRSBUCKET personally. It had to do with the fact that bitch fights are not wanted on that board, no matter who it is doing the fighting. Both sides had their say. The only reason I didn't close the thread was because GayThailand beat me to it.
In any case, considering the fact that I have been totally supportive of the ads and considering the way the comment on the TopMan site is worded, I feel slapped in the face and back-stabbed. I believe if MRSBUCKET had a complaint, then he should have called it to my attention or to the attention of the other moderators and given us an opportunity to respond before placing that comment onto his web site. The PM system on that site works perfectly. That's all it would have taken and in my opinion that would have been the fair thing to do.
And, by the way, as far as I'm concerned he is still welcome to place his ads on the Gaythailand site unless his comment has caused GayThailand to cease allowing them. However, nothing has been said to me about it.

Good Looking Boys, and I have pictrues to prove it.
Then, I see the pictures posted such as on this 'Topman' wesbiste and I want to stay home. Not a one that I would take home. I mean some are really bad.
So what goes with the pictures these bars post of their staff? And I know they have better. I realize different strokes for different folks, but give me a break.
Washed out faces that sometimes look dead, skinny bodies (and I love Twinks), or frigging tattoos in excess.
A noteable exception is the Wild West Boys, whose website shows their handsome boys in a video that takes forever to load.
Still I can't wait to get back in a few months but it won't be because of the staff pictures many of these bars choose to post.

Are there only tops at topman ?
I feel sorry to hear that after three times asking for moderation nobody at Gay Thailand responded to your request. I think good moderators or owners of boards should answer quick and correct. My experience on this board is much different then yours. I think here at Baht-stop they do a good job and they are very quick in answering my p.m. However that said, I wasn't to keen on reading your replies to Earwig.
They were very low class also. Both of you where bitching to each other if there was no tmrw. What a low class attitude both of you were showing to us. How could you guys go so low. But IMO I think Gay Thailand should have removed the treat, when you asked for it. That you din't get an answer from the moderators is very bad. But Ofcourse its not always easy to run a message board, so you have to take their time and availability also in consideration. G.T. is doing a SPA in Las Vegas. Maybe he was to busy with his Kamra Sutra Therapy or maybe G.T. had his colon washed trough and couldn't come of the toilet for some days. Hopefully soon all of you are going to be good friends again. Believe me G.B. and G.T. aren't that bad. I cross my fingers for you and hopefully they will remove this low class bitching treat. Good luck Madam Bouquet.

So I still say that the Gay Thailand site is totally out of order and my requests (3) were ignored.
I stand by my comments.
If 3 requests ware sent to the moderators, I never received any of them. If I had, I would have responded. Maybe you did something wrong because when a general message to the moderators is sent, all the moderators see it. I don't know. All I know is I never saw any such request.
In any case, GayThailand is the moderator who handled that thread and that makes it his decision now as to what to do with that thread. I suggest that you take your request directly to him. He makes the final decisions anyway.
You are entitled to your opinion. I won't argue about that. As I said, as far as I'm concerned you are still welcome to post your ads on the Gaythailand site if you wish. If those ads are removed, it won't be me who removes them.

This reads like a portion of the transcript from the Caine Mutiny Court Martial.
Roll out your steel balls Mr GayButton, and take a seat . . . lots more explaining from you is needed on this one. And don't fret, this group can HANDLE the truth!
Cheers ...
