Here we go again. On Gaythailand ear wig has started another message with defamationof my charactor.
Gay Button, I have written to Gaythailand moderator requesting him to delete the trail again. Please ensure that this is done.
I am not going to be drawn into any further conversation with this vile person. He is now trying to bring others parties into this sleaze ego trip hes on. I dont think anyone else will appreciate that.
Get him off all the boards as hes well know fir causing problems like this around Pattaya.
Please deal with this a s a p.

Gay Thailand deleted it, after making some nasty comments.

Now G.B. is allowing earwig again to Bitch.

I don't think this is fair.

That topic should have been deleted also, not just blocked.

Ofcourse G.B. has no power to delete Earwig.

Well thats not my problem, its more G.B.'s problem. His moderations created only enemy's not friends.

I have taken this up with Gaythailand.com without any success. I think I am right in that Gaybutton acts as a moderator for Gaythailand.com. Time has proved that gaybutton and the other moderators are not interested in protecting the inocent on that site.
I wrote on this site to get the attention of Gaybutton. I think he has frozen the thread but I have requested both with an e-mail and the 'contact us' form. This is the same problem as I had yesterday. With something like this response is needed quickly.
How would you like to have someone print lies about you. Other action would be legal I expect, either aginst him or the site, or both.

You are complaining to the wrong person. You have had my attention about this from the start. I have already explained that I am not empowered to delete those posts. The best I can personally do is to lock the thread, and that's what I did the moment I saw the latest post. Whether it remains locked or whether the latest EarWig post gets deleted is entirely up to GayThailand, the owner of the web site. You asked me to ensure that the post gets deleted. How? GayThailand won't let me do that. He makes all the decisions regarding EarWig.

Your dispute is with EarWig and GayThailand, not with me. Everyone who has been around these boards for any length of time knows that I am in no way a supporter of EarWig. If I had the power to ban him from the Gaythailand web site that's exactly what I would do. But I don't have that power.

I've done the best I can for you. As I said, I do not have the capability to do any more than I am already doing. But I'll tell you one thing: If your response to me and my efforts to help you is to start trying to personally threaten me with legal action then you can go to hell. If I misinterpreted your statement, then that's one thing, but if I am now being threatened, then I will do nothing further to try to help you. You are trying to force me to intervene in a situation over which I have no control, and I don't have to put up with that.

Also, why are you posting your complaints here? If I was in your situation, then I would be posting my complaints on the Gaythailand site. This site has nothing to do with it and I don't think it's right to place the moderators of this site in a position that causes them to have to deal with a dispute that has nothing to do with their site in the first place. If you have anything further to say, then say it on the Gaythailand site. If your posts get deleted, I will not be the person who deletes them.

I will make no further responses to your posts unless they appear on the Gaythailand site.

I'm sorry, but you are placing me in a position that catches me right in the middle of a situation I can't control and I resent that. I don't know how many more times I'll have to explain that I cannot delete the EarWig posts. I would if I could, but I can't.

My intention re action is against earwig and the website Gaythailand only. Not you.
I have sent 2 notices to Gaythailand and the message still has not been erased.
My thoughts are that by posting here it would come to yur attention.
Sorry to anyone who is pissed off with this, I cant wait to bump into earwig/LMTU.

Okay, I did go to the "Gay Thailand" board and read some of the post, so I could see what is going on. When I read the people who really do not like earwig like, Bob, Rainwater, Smiles, GB, etc. I must admit that if these people do not like him he must really be a problem. I respect all of these posters.
However, I really did not see where his comments, which are still there to read, are that offensive to you to require the degree of Hysteronics you have displayed. I still think you are wrong to bring it to this board, and you did clearly threatened GB (as the moderator) with legal action. So I stand by my Drama Queen quote, and I am adding you to my blocked list where you can join Prada and Prague as people not worth reading.

In defense of Mrs Bucket, I once had a tiff with a moderator on another board who insisted on selectively deleting things that I posted. The guy is still doing it, but there was no other board to complain about it. We are lucky to have several boards now so that can't happen.

It isn't really a question of like or dislike of either poster but more of question of getting deathly tired of hearing the same old hissy fit between the same two posters. Almost like two 10-year-olds constantly fighting and annoying each other - with your inclination being to just slap both of them silly until you put both of them out of your misery.
Everybody in the world (I suspect that includes those in the far reaches of Africa and Antartica) knows the two posters hate each other. Okay, point noted and digitally etched into history. Let's just not hear about it again (i.e., give us all a fucking break, ok?).

Yes. At the top of the page click on 'My Controls.' You'll see an option that allows you to manage ignored users, or something similar to that. If you click on that, you can add the names of posters you wish to ignore.

I have to confess that I haven't paid much attention to the fuss that dear Hyacinth seems to have caused by locking horns with LMTU/Ear Wig on the GayThailand board.

I won't comment on any of the specifics of who-hit-who first, on the GT board or the backwash here, since I remain blissfully ignorant of the details. In view of Tony's comment above, however, I think it's unfair to criticize any of the moderators involved at GT or here in the Thailand Forum (of which I am not one) in what's essentially a cat fight between consenting adults.

When you decide to use an internet board for free publicity, you have to be prepared to accept the fact that this media talks back sometimes and you may not like what you hear. The fact that you don't pay for the ad doesn't mean it comes "free" in that sense. It can bite you when you least expect it and you shouldn't expect a moderator to come to your rescue when things get written that you don't like.
