Who the Hell is Billy?

Billy is one of the more notorious house trolls at Sawatdee Forum, which has more than its share of trolls these days, and who has posted under various names, including WX40afp. He became infamous for his posts describing his appetite for unsafe bareback sex.

Billy recently posted a bizarre invitation to a party at Monty's Jomtien Complex, "scheduled for Monday, September 11", which just happens to be a Tuesday. That's how well prepared the invitation was. He has since erased that invitation, which said that he would donate free drinks at Monty's and hoped people would donate to Dr. Philippe's AIDS work in return.

Who knows if this party is pure fantasy or a promotion by Monty or some jerks on SF playing games.

Who knows if Billy isn't pure SF fantasy too.

The poster wx40afp makes it quite clear that it is MONTY who is throwing a party. Apparently, there will be free food, drinks and entertainment for anyone wishing to attend. Customers are invited to make a donation which will be passed on to Dr. Philippe Seur to be used in his work in Pattaya helping those living with HIV-AIDS. If Monty's fund-raiser is indeed a hoax, I suggest that Monty makes a clear statement to that effect as soon as possible. It would also be in his best interest to publicly disassociate himself from wx40afp (aka Billy).

UPDATE: Monty has made an announcement on Sawatdee through a John Botting.

The free food and drinks are 'Monty's sandwiches, etc'. and the drink is limited to a bottle of vodka, a bottle of whisky and a keg of beer between all the guests.

Just as you were thinking, 'Well, what do you expect for when it's free', I'm pleased to announce that it will cost you 200 baht.

Now you're thinking, 'Shall I go to Monty's bash, or stay home and drive nails up my nose?'

sEEms Billy has found a scape goat in Monty. Billy at first said it was his farewell party and he was supplying the drinks and snacks. Now it seems he can not afford to do this and Monty is now taking over. What else can one expect from Billy?

According to some postings on SF, Billy stiffed Monty by failing to reimburse Monty for a substantial portion of the "free drinks" that were served at the party. As usual Monty has had nothing to say or post on the subject and you wonder where all such inside information comes from in the first place.

The info comes from close friends of Monty's. The drink total was 5300 baht with Billy putting down a deposit of 2000 baht and then skipped out without paying the rest. This according to posting on Sawatdee.

Now, now. Give credit where it's due. If the story is true, he at least put up the 2000 baht. That's 2000 baht more than I ever expected him to do.

As I was to open my new venue at the Enchanted Hut I suggested to Billy that he have a going away bash. Billy agreed and said he contribute 5000B towards the night. I explained that as this would only about cover the drinks bill I would provide the snacks, the show and the venue free.
I did tell Billy NOT to do the event for charity and not to charge 200 b. entry fee as there was not enough time to organise it properly. I did invite Take Care to hold a raffle if they wished. Most of that group turned up but did not hold a raffle. All postings about the bash and all references to charity were made by Billy, NOT by me.
Billy turned up late on the night with 6 boys in all.
My total costs for the night amounted to 6800B. Billy gave 2000B on the night promising to pay the agreed balance of 3000B. the following day. He did not do so. The next day my manager phoned him and he said he was in Bangkok. He hung up when I tried to speak with him. Within 1 hour somebody phoned me to say that Billy was in Sunnee Plaza. My manager went to Sunnee Plaza, found him and gave him the bill. He walked away and said he would pay tomorrow. He refused to talk to me on my managers phone. To date he has not paid.
In most bars the manager is responsible for unpaid bills but I take responsibility in this case for being a bad judge of character.
Billy will never again be welcome at Monty's and if he ever pays the 3000B. I will give it to charity.
These are the facts. Draw your own conclusions.

You've got to admire Monty's style. Only he could throw a launch party costing 6800 baht and persuade a customer to pay 5000 baht of that. Priceless!

Monty has long been a defender for Billy. Billy has on several occassions stabbed Monty in the back only to have Monty forgive him and keep defending his actions. It would take something very serious for Monty to ever say anythig bad about billy. All i can say is its about time Monty.
