Poll: Thai elite preach but don't practice sufficiency

According to the latest ABAC poll:

"Thai people believe elite preach but do not practise sufficiency philosophy." The poll reports that while most people support the government's use of the sufficiency philosophy in guiding the economy, they feel that politicians and the Thai elite " have hardly embraced the philosophy at all in their personal life."

The poll provdes no numbers on the above sentiments but it does report that over 50% of people polled say they do not earn enough salary now to cover living expenses, while over 68 % of those polled earn too little to ever contemplate saving money.

They were probably so high they were afraid to print them. The Thai poor may not be educated but that doesn't mean they aren't smart enough to recognize that the elite preach one thing and do quite another thing in practice.
