If you look at the smling lady in the red circle, sitting just out of the photographer's range, you will see none other than Khunying Sudarat Keyuraphan, a former member of the Thaksin cabinet and one of the TRT executives who is "banned from political acitivity."

This coup has become a joke, as the smiling Khunying demonstrates. The only real question is whether TRT (PPP) will get an absolute Parliamentary majority or become principal player in a coalition which will pass laws allowing Thakisn and the rest of the TRT crowd to return formally to power.

Should ensure extra votes for TRT (oops, sorry PPP) from the many thousands of supporters of HM The King.

p/s Could the good lady be guilty of lese majeste for involving His Majesty in a political gathering ?? Just a thought

It's not just the Khunying. The EC is going to rule whether Thaksin himself will be allowed to address a PPP Bangkok political gathering by tele-conference screen later this week.
