Did I forget to mention that there will be a pig roast and a bufet from 8 pm.
Opening tomorrow, 15th, and the place has been completly refurbished.

Does Hyacinth have something to do with this new place or is this a project of the guy who used to own Top Man ?
Speaking of the old Lek's bar, has there been any word of what happened to Lek after the bar closed and he seemed to disappear.

He had also opened a second bar across the street, as you may recall. I forgot the name. The story I heard, and I have absolutely no way of knowing whether it's true, is that he had borrowed a substantial amount of money from the local loan sharks and was unable to pay it back. He had to skedaddle, so the rumor goes, before he received an unwelcome visit from the Thai equivalent of Vinnie, Rocko, and Umberto.

It seems that "THE NEW TOP MAN" bar will now be managed by the guy formerly known at Throb/Splash as Mark, and who some of you may recall left Splash/Throb under mysterious circumstances which the Boyztown "in crowd" were creaming in their tea cups over.
The insect known as Ear Wig, who enjoys VIP status at GayThailand, has now proclaimed Mark as the genius who made Throb what it was in the first place. No doubt, K. Quill might have some comments about that claim.
Anyway, the lipstick and sequins crowd with the over-40 waistlines that grace most drag shows there, are all excited that yet another 1960's drag show will be opening in Pattaya at Top Man in another month. Let's hope the boys are better than before, or they might have to call it "Young Frankenstein" but without Mel Brooks' talents to make it a success.

The last thing that Sunee Plaza needs is another drag show that starts bringing bus loads of straight tourists into the area, just like happened to Splash/Throb in B-town.
