I will be turning 65 next year and have a pension from my former employer that includes medical care, but only in the USA. They will not pay for overseas treatments, nor will Medicare.

I'm interested in obtaining a policy that will insure me against catastrophic illness, not ordinary medical care that I can afford to pay myself. I wouldn't mind a big deductible of $ 10,000 if I was covered for anything beyond that here in Thailand. I am overweight but otherwise in good health now, and a medical exam is no problem.

Does anyone know of such coverage only against catastrophic illness ? Thanks for any help.

The person to see in Pattaya is:

Jack Levy
215/15-18 2nd Road
South Pattaya 20260

Telephone: 038-723 497
Fax: 038-723 402
Mobile Phone: 081-624-2702

Jack can handle all of your insurance needs in Thailand, whether you are looking for health insurance, life insurance, vehicle insurance, or anything else. He has been in business in Pattaya for many years and he is excellent.
