The following post on SGF has just appeared:
Robbie from Le Cafe Royal has died.
Sadly I have just been informed that Robbie from the Le Café Royal has passed away in Amsterdam.
Over the last few years Robbie has had an ongoing battle with cancer.
He succumbed to an infection which in recent days had ravished his body.
He will be sadly missed by many friends may he rest in peace.
What a terrible shame! Robbie was one of the most genuine and honest members of the Pattaya expat community and he will be sorely missed, especially by the hundreds of regular customers of the Le Cafe Royale. Robbie's tremendous help to his patrons and tireless efforts to ensure that their stay at the hotel was as comfortable and hassle-free as possible made a stay at the hotel one of the highlights for the many regular visitors to Pattaya and the LOS.
Above all he was just a very nice and genuinely likeable guy.
RIP Robbie
