"Despite the absence of its major donor, Khunying Pojaman Shinawatra, the People Power Party (PPP) has still amassed the highest donations among political parties. In the first seven months of the year, donations to PPP totalled Bt34.62 million. . .
Ruamjai Thai Chart Pattana ranked second. From January to July, it received 15 donations totalling Bt14.85 million. Most of the donors were businessmen.
Coming third was the Democrat Party, with Bt11.28 million in donations. It received financial contributions from its MPs on a regular basis.
Puea Paendin Party was in fourth place with Bt10.43 million. Most of the donations came from its deputy party leader, Jirayu Wasurat, and party secretarygeneral Vachara Phanchet.
The Matchima Thippatai received Bt4.4 million. The Chart Thai Party, meanwhile, got only Bt16,000."
