"The Election Commission has dismissed a complaint of draft dodging against Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva, an EC commissioner said Sunday.

Prapun Naigowit said the EC last week considered complaint of an action group, the coordinating network for instilling democracy in youths, and decided that the complaint would have nothing to do with the prime minister's status.

He said the EC saw that such charges would not cause an MP to lose his or her status so it would not affect the status of the prime minister."

One knows that something's rotten in Denmark when a comment like this evokes a hearty laugh followed by one shaking one's head. Saturday Night Live had people roaring just by quoting (exactly) what Sarah Palin said. I roar (in the same pathetic way) almost everyday I read the Post or the Nation.
