Just when we all thought that the rainy season was just a memory, this weekend at the beach got washed out on both Saturday and Sunday with big downpours right in the middle of the afternoon. I don't live very far from the Dongtan beach, but I got soaked walking home on both days. The rains don't last too long, but they're just enough to spoil a nice beach afternoon.

Third rainout at the beach in a row today, Monday. The rain started before noon and it's still drizzling at 1320, with thunder in the distance.

Tuesday has blossomed into one of the loveliest days of the year, with a crystal blue sky dotted with puffs of white clouds on a horizon that you can see forever. All we need is Barbra Streisand !

Wednesday may have been even better than Tuesday, because there was a stronger breeze blowing off the Gulf. As many years as I have visited or lived here, I am always amazed by the beauty of the weather here as we move into the winter season.
The early mornings are becoming cool, the afternoons more like Hawaii than Asia in tempertuare and humidity, and the sun seems brighter but not as hot in a very high blue sky.
Best of all, there's a whole new crop of boys fresh from the farm and crusing the beach.

The boys are returning as the cool season commences and the rainy season ends.. I saw four of my
favorites who returned in the last few days to Pattaya.. Lots and lots of new boys appearing daily to
supplement the amazing number of gorgeous boys/men already in Pattaya.. It is party time, it is always
party time if you got the baht..
