I am surprised at the amount of xxx videos being hawked at our community at
Jomtien beach and on the streets of Sunee.. One can recognize some of the boys ,who frequent the
beach and bars, in some of the videos and there is even a website where the pornographer offers them
for viewing.. The man apparently holds the video camera during the action and it must take
some concentration to be in the video (at least one significant part of him) and shoot it at the same time..
Someone said that the boys have to sign a release but since the whole thing is illegal, I doubt anyone
signs anything and I also doubt the assurance that all models are 18y.o. and over..
One of my regular boys recognized a friend/acquaintance of his from the free trailer on the website and
spoke with the boy..The boy claimed he was duped but I don't know the facts or pretend to..
I have not and will not buy the videos as I find them exploitive and porn doesn't interest me ..
Since they are illegal and there is some question as to the ages of the boys, I
think it would be prudent not to buy them and certainly not to take them out of the country..
I also think it is poor judgementy to pay to see them on the website as it abets the criminal activity.. It would be a goodthing if the pornographer, at least used condoms, as he endangers himself and the boys..
I will not supply the address of the website and should the moderators finally this thread inappropriate,
by all means, zap it into cyberspace..

You are both correct. My boyfriend knows a few of the boys who appear in those movies. He says they are paid 5000 baht for it. As far as I know, it is a felony in Thailand to sell the pornography, but not to be in possession of it.
One of the vendors who sells it approached me at the beach. I asked him why he's selling this stuff considering that he could end up spending years in jail for it, while if he was selling just about anything else, the worst that would happen is it would be confiscated. He smiled broadly, pointed toward the Dongtan police box and said, "No problem. Brother police."

When did you ever hear of someone going to jail in Thailand for selling X-rated videos, even an orphan without brothers.
My biggest complaint about these X videos is that they sell a lot of Japanese stuff, some of which is well done, but where the genitals are blurred in the film.
I have also noticed that the quality of the general movie copies sold at the beach has really deteriorated in the past six months. Some are so dark and grainy that they can't be watched.
So many of them are such terrible copies now that all the boys tell you when you buy: "If no good, I give you another one." I'm not sure what accounts for the decline in quality, when the copy technology seems to be improving all the time.
