Against my better judgment, I went lady bar-hopping Sunday night on Walking Street with some straight tourists who invited me to come along after dinner. I've been doing the internet dating scene much more lately - with boys !

What shocked me about the tour was the fact that almost all of the ladybars we visited had ladies that were dancing totally naked !!! Not a stitch of clothing and many shaved too.

Some were hustling around the bar naked too, although some wore G strings when they were not on the dance floor.

I know it's been asked before, but why don't the boy bars offer the same thing.

Dragon and some Sunee places come the closest with some open displays and fondling, but why doesn't some enterprising guy open a boy bar where its the full monty every night ?

Surely, a small cover charge or price surcharge on drinks for the luxury of full nudity would pay for any tea money required.

Dolly, there are a couple of places in Sunee where guys are dancing full monty, but the peach fuzz in the crotch and underarms makes you wonder what high school they should be enrolled in. I too am puzzled why boy bar owners feel thay can't do what the lady bar owners have been doing for years here in Pattaya.

Hmmm. Good question. I wonder if it has anything to do with simple economics? Reading Stickman, I know the ladies in their go-go bars pull in quite a bit of cash just from their monthly salaries. And the more they are willing to do, the more they get paid. The guys, on the other hand, make next to nothing from the bar and are almost totally reliant on tips. At least that's what I've been told. And if this is true, then it is easy to imagine that the guys are not being offered the proper financial incentive to bare it all.

So the real question is why aren't they being offered extra compensation to take it all off? There is certainly demand for it, isn't there? Perhaps the bars just aren't making enough money to offer the go-go boys more. Maybe there just aren't enough gay sex tourists crowding these places and dumping tons of cash in them. Or perhaps there are just too many go-go bars, which spreads the customer base too thin.

I guess the best way to show the bar owners that there is demand for this kind of thing is to spend all our money at Krazy Dragon.

Oh, by the way, economics cuts both ways. The ladies get at least B3,500 for their services. The boyz all say, "up to you," and seem happy with anything from B500 to B1,500.

So maybe we should leave things just the way they are.

I would bet you that the average cock size of boys who work in a bars where they show it all, and there are a few, is much bigger than bars where conservative underwear is worn.

I think maybe you have hit on a very good point. How many times have you found yourself passing on a guy because there was no visible bulge in the underwear ? If he's naked, there's no way to imagine that there's something there that isn't.

Showing the guys full monty may also cause a decline in drink sales because, in most bars, the only way to sample the merchandise, is to invite the guy for a drink and take a peek under the underwear. If yo get to see the sample in full view onstage, why bother with a drink before offing him ?

I wish some bar owner would give us an insider's view of this issue.

Fat chance. They want your money, not your questions.

My experience on these boards is that bar owners want free space for advertising, which they usually get through surrogates wearing various wigs, but they rarely take the time to accomodate their customers with answers to legitimate questions.

You would think that people who claim to know everything about the bar business would rush to provide some answers here.
