Has anyone ever stayed at the X Suites in BKK? They are part of the X Group. I visited their web site part of which is in Thai so I have no clue what it says. The room pics look nice but I know pics can be deceiving. The price is right and location seems convenient. I will be in BKK for 3 nights before heading off to Pattaya. Any insights would be appreciated.

Never stayed there but I never want to, either. The place is located on Rama IV, an extremely clogged traffic artery. Not only that but a highway overpass is positioned right above Rama IV -- and right next to this hotel. Stay there and you'll not only be breathing dense diesel particulate for three days but you'll be terrorized by the constant din of some of Bangkok's worst traffic.

An acquaintance stayed there very recently - he was booked in for 5 nights but moved out after 2 because of the constant traffic noise !
