When you read this article about police corruption in the "copy" trade, you might be impressed, until you read the last sentence:
"Commerce Ministry officials have targetted 41 police officers from Non-commissioned officers to generals over intellectual property rights violations, with many more officials soon to be named.
Deputy Commerce Minister Alongkorn Ponlaboot on Tuesday forwarded a list of the officers to Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva, who chairs the government's committee on the prevention and suppression of intellectual property violations. He said officers ranging from sergeants to generals were accused of violating copyright and trademarks. Mr Alongkorn said the list was only the tip of the iceberg as he would later produce more lists of officials in other agencies.
Mr Abhisit ordered Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban who supervises police affairs to carry out legal action against the police officers on the list.
The move came ahead of a visit to Washington by Mr Alongkorn to discuss the Thai government's actions on intellectual property protection and the possibility of tax privileges for Thai exports to the United States.

They're getting more creative. They usually have the same cops bulldoze a few thousand empty DVD's before the visit.
Hehehe....
