Have you noticed how easy it is for some parties to get court cases postponed ?

"The Criminal Court on Thursday morning postponed the verdict announcement on the defamation suit against Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva, Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban and Ong-art Klampaiboon from the Democrat party filed by former Thai Rak Thai (TRT) party executive Prommin Lertsuridej to April 27 at 10am.

The court had to reschedule the verdict announcement since MPs can attend the House meetings without being detained by court processes.

Mr Prommin filed the defamation suit against the Democrat key members after they publicly accused the court-dissolved TRT party of hiring small parties to contest in the general election on April 2, 2006."
