For the members' information, the post deleted had nothing to do with local Thai business, as intimated by Ear Wig, who we must assume never saw the post but made his usual running leap of faith into the muddy waters he calls posting.

The post removed was internet Spam purporting to provide a link to an internet service which cleans your hard disk of porno.

I saw the Spam earlier this morning and alerted Mod1 to its posting, since it was blatantly Spam and had nothing to do with Thailand or this board. The member joined a few minutes before making the post and he will hopefully be "unjoined" when the Administrator has time to attend to the matter.

For those who bother to read the rules here, the promotion of local business is not banned, as Ear Wig intimates in his post. In that regard, the reference to hamburger advertising is totally misleading. . .but then when has that stopped some posters.

NO, neither Ear Wig or LMTU was mentioned in the post. I'm thinking however that we may need a new definition of SPAM with the likes of
Let Me Wig You prowling the halls.

A lot of people seem quick to box your ears Earwig. You must be doing something right ! laugh.gif

These damned links to "cleaners" for your computer are to be avoided at all costs. They will implant pop-up ads that you can never git rid of bar wiping your whole comp and starting again. I think this is the new way of spamming instead of personal emails as they are appearing on boards everywhere.
