"The recently discovered ancient land turtle species has been given the Greek name, Basilochelys macrobios, in honour of His Majesty the King. The name can be translated into "Long Live the King".
"This species roamed the Earth about 150 million years ago in the late Jurassic period," Mineral Resource Department director general Adisak Thongkaimook said Monday."

I wonder what the palace thinks of naming an extinct turtle from Jurassic Park after the reigning monarch ? There are some extreme people in this country who might see that as lese majeste.
