No, you may not ask. In case you haven't noticed, I do things for the gay community here. Besides haunting this board, writing idiotic posts, lying about a resort, and constantly referring to a non-existent boyfriend, what have you ever done for the gay community? Go on, tell us. I'm already fascinated.

So far as I know you did not much more then write ass-licking good reviews about bars and restaurants.
Post information about the exchange rate of the baht and the dollar and some more so called informative posts. for example about Immigration rules and how to obtain a driver licence.( most of them are cut and pasted)
Do you think this makes you special towards the gay community ?

Indeed, congratulations are very much in order to GB.
If you can read Loeploh, then you will already know which charities the money raised is going to. It was all publicised long before the event

Well done GB - you are a good sport

GB dont waste your time. He has many user names and we all know who he is.
I'll waste my time only to this extent. I specifically asked him to tell us anything he has done for the gay community. You may notice that there was only an evasive response. But all of us know he can't answer the question because the answer is he has done absolutely nothing.

This is not to criticize your "mucking" contribution at all- more power to you - even if you seem to like tooting your own horn. I'm interested to know how you define "the gay community." There's no doubt that you spend a lot of time promoting business events run by Pattaya businesses, some of whom are in the sex trade, and some of which send a part to charity. Do you consider promoting or marketing businesses as something you are doing for the gay community ?

Yeah, right. I can certainly see that.
I'll also give you three guesses how much I care about what you're "interested to know." No matter how I would answer your loaded question, I'd be "tooting my own horn." If you're so interested, go and find out for yourself. Better still, show up at one of these functions and ask me personally . . . if you've got the guts.

He keeps on insulting regular posters on this board.
If you do not believe, pls. use the search engine and search for the words as mentioned above. I already explained many times that IMHO its not fair for a moderator from another board to come over to Baht-Stop and insult Baht-Stop posters on a very regular base.
Now time has come to do the same. Let me try , I know my English isn't that good but I give it a shot.
here I go !!!
G.B. doesn't know BUT he himself is the BIGGEST brainless, dazed, deficient, dense, dim, doltish, dopey, dull, dumb, foolish, futile, gullible, half-baked, half-witted, idiotic, ill-advised, imbecilic, inane, indiscreet, insensate, irrelevant, laughable, ludicrous, meaningless, mindless, moronic, naive, nonsensical, obtuse, out to lunch, pointless, puerile, rash, senseless, shortsighted, simple, simpleminded, slow, sluggish, stolid, stupefied, thick, thick-headed, trivial, unintelligent, unthinking, witless LOSER in Pattaya's Message board history !!

mauRICE:
Good job of research. I'm guessing that the "loser..." etc. was original, but it seems like a stretch.
I don't know too much about his other writing skills. I've had the fool on iggie for over a month. All I get to see is the occasional quote.

out to lunch
Is that an Americanism? It's the only euphemism for idiot, moronic or stupid I'm not familiar with. It also sticks out like a sore loser in that it's an expression, not a word (if you include the hyphenated ones), otherwise, why not include all sorts of other expressions such as 'born on the wrong side of the tracks' or 'white trash'. If out to lunch is synonymous with idiot, moron or stupid, I hate to think what word could possibly do justice to 'legend in his own lunchtime'.

I suppose it's a euphemism in a broad sense. Using the expression "out to lunch" usually refers to someone who is divorced from reality, as opposed to stupid or moronic. Someone with age dementia would be out to lunch, although not necessarily stupid when lucid.

Maybe absentminded would also fit your 'divorced from reality' interpretation - people prone to that may come across as stupid, but actually be very lucid when they need to be. Therein lies a possible distinction, perhaps you could say absentminded people are separated from reality i.e. temporarily, rather than divorced. Another word synonymous with absentminded that I like is distrait, which I (hopefully correctly) pronounce in the French fashion.

Actually, most guys stuck with the name "Aloysius" prefer to be called "Alois." Just as my Uncle Al.
Hehehe.....
