It looks like Gay Ting Tong has clamped a lid on all posts relating to Sunee Plaza.

"From today until further notice we have a strict policy on Sunee Plaza happenings. There is a lot of gossip going around - some true, but a lot false , malicious and damaging.Unless something has been printed in the press, sent to us by a business owner or posted by a business owner or can be proven 100% accurate we will not allow it to be posted.

Of course we will continue to update you with other news and events - bar openings/closures etc.

Remember - what you post you/we can be held responsible for in a court of law. It is unfair to damage peoples businesses or reputations . False allegations can result in financial loss, cause unfair stress on the victim and can even end up with physical harm being caused. Please be warned."

We regret to say that the poster known as Oogleman has requested that his membership on this board be cancelled and his posts on this Forum removed. We have complied with his request. We regret the circumstance that led to this decision. Based on certain representations made, the owner has deemed it appropriate to remove all comments subsequent to the original posting. Oogleman's future participation and comments in this Forum are always welcome.

The departed Ting Tong poster made a very strange accusation (now deleted with the rest of his posts at his request) that the "same poster" had posted on this thread five times. What could he have possibly meant?
"I was thought to be 'stuck up.' I wasn't. I was just sure of myself. This is and always has been an unforgivable quality to the unsure."

Sorry, the decision to close the thread was mine, not the boss. It's now been reopened, but with the owner's request that posters voluntarily refrain from further comments on events at Sunee at this time, in view of what appears to be very sensitive issues involving real people. Oggleman is free at any time, of course, to re-register and rejoin the Forum and discussion.

Editor's Note: I have transferred the last two comments from another thread which was opened by Maurice when he was unable to post in this then-closed thread.

What is going on? Both here and in Sunee?

QUOTE
What is going on? Both here and in Sunee?

Whats going on is that this thread originated with the posting of an announcement made on another board by the operator of Gay Ting Tong, indicating a new "strict policy" regarding certain posts on Sunee Plaza. The author of that notice, who is also a member of this board, sought to explain the policy in his own post and indicated in private messages to certain board members here the need to prevent the spread of "malicious" threats and abuse.

Accepting these representations as honest and true, this forum edited the thread with the request that our members take care, in accordance with our existing rules, to refrain from commenting on unsubstantiated rumors which could invade privacy and do serious harm to reputations that might not be easily undone if ultimately shown to be unsubstantiated rumors. In that regard, please note our existing Rule No. 2:

"By registering, you agree not to post any material which is knowingly false, defamatory, obscene or pornographic, threatening, stalking, unduly abusive, illegal or may constitute lese majeste under Thai law, or is invasive of any person's privacy who is not already in the public domain."

Members are also reminded that the use of multiple posting names is allowed under our Rule No.3, provided they are not registered or used as a device to attack, impugn or harass other posters.

We trust that all our members will act accordingly.
