For the past week, as the court decision on seizing the Thaksin assets case gets near, Khun Abhisit and his propaganda machine have been claiming that money is flowing into Thailand from "overseas" to foster Red violence. It's an obvious attempt to influence the country and public to justify seizing Thaksin's money, which Abhisit imples is the source of foreign money. Not one item of proof has been provided.
It looks like the Pheu Thai has called the bluff:
"The parliamentary finance, fiscal and banking committee has invited relevant people to provide information on the report that overseas money were transferred to Thailand to support anti-government activities of the red-shirts, the panel’s chairman Surapong Towichakchaikul said on Saturday.
The invited people included acting government spokesman Panithan Wattanayakorn, representatives from the Airports of Thailand Plc, the Anti-Money Laundering Office, the Bank of Thailand, the Ministry of Finance, and the Customs Department, Mr Surapong said, adding that the appointment date is next Thursday, Feb 18.
The chairman, also Puea Thai MP for Chiang Mai, was confident that after getting the information, it would be clear whether the report was true or it was just a fabrication."

"Acting government spokesman Panithan Wattanayakorn should resign his post for wrongly claiming there were unusual capital inflows to support the anti-government activities of the red-shirts, the chairman of the parliamentary monetary, fiscal and financial institutions committee Surapong Towichakchaikul said.
Mr Surapong, a Puea Thai MP for Chiang Mai, said on Thursday that his committee had invited economic agencies to provide information to support the claim and they replied there were no unusual money transfers from overseas to support political activities.
“Mr Panithan should make an apology [to ousted former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra and the red-shirts] as his groundless allegations have damaged their image,” he said."
