When I read this forum, I see a lot of complains about Thailand.
Many posters end their replies on this forum with their remark" I put this on my I don't get it list"
I agree that many things are not so good in this country, but may I politely ask you why you don't go back to your own wonderful country ?

I agree , there is to much of an anti-Thai sentiment on the Gay Thailand boards.
This is one of the few countries in the world where you can be accepted for beiing yourself...A BIG GAY OLD FAGGET.
and still complain , put that on my I do not get it list !

If I look to other countries, I think that Thailand hasn't been A to bad of a country.
I for sure have always enjoyed to be in this country and I also enjoyed the Thai people.
I think Thailand is a great Nation and if you see how and what happens in other countries I think Thailand isn't doing that bad. Its one of the few( if not the only one) countries were old gays can enjoy them self so freely. I am also a little worried about the future of this country but I am almost sure that the Thai's know how to keep this country on track. for sure all the Thai people have my full support and I wish them all the strength they might need.

There's a big difference between complaining about a country or its people as a whole and the way things are run. Most of the time when you read a comment about "the Thais," it's really about the Thai government, in Bangkok, Pattaya or anywhere else. Most of the Thai people that expats deal with are on the same receiving end of government incompetence or corruption that we are. What's frustrating about living here is seeing how the weak and poor are exploited by their "masters." The expats who really don't care about this country are the ones who enjoy the sex and ignore everything else.

Yes for many of us,sex is a very important part of life.
It would be nice to live in a perfect world.
I have been around in this country for about 40 years. Those years were good. I just hope that I can enjoy another 40 years in a peaceful Thailand.
