The order of Suthep assigned the Metropolitan Police Division 5 to enforce the ban against the demonstration. Vehicles are also prohibited from entering the soi.But some 2,000 red-shirt protesters gathered in front of the soi at 9: 15 am."

"Red-shirt protesters led by anti-government United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) leaders Jatuporn Prompan and Arisman Pongruangrong poured their donated blood in front of Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva's home on Sukhumvit Soi 31 late Wednesday morning.

After the demonstrators were able to get through security forces, they spilled about five to six gallons of blood in front of Mr Abhisit's home in heavy rain. The red-shirts also hurled bottles of blood over the fence into the grounds after people inside sprayed water at them in an attempt to drive them away.

After the protesters achieved their goal, they left the area to return to the main protest venue at Phan Fa bridge.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister overseeing security Suthep Thaugsuban signed an order under the Internal Security Act, prohibiting any political activities in front Mr Abhisit's home from today until March 23."
