[attachmentid=736] The Nation's most virulent anti-Thaksin , pro-monarchy propagandist, Thanong Khanthong, seems to have gone over the edge in his latest political rantings.

Whether it's because all of his predictions on political developments have proven to be quite unreliable, or whether he's just lost it, in his pathological obsession with claiming to know where Thaksin is at all times, Thanong has now come up with what he calls his solution to the country's problems: "Thailand need a new direction: go back to our roots."

The photo above is featured in Thanong's latest version of "goodbye yellow brick road, I'm going back to my plow." He says that Thailand would be fine. All it has to do is:

1. Tame the army
2. Got rid of the police
3. Cut government jobs by 60%
4. Get rid of Parliament
5. Get rid of the banks

You may ask, of course, how any of this can happen, or what's left of the country when this all happens ?

According to Thanong, the answer is : "Setthakit Pho Phiang," which appears roughly to translate to - you guessed it - THE SUFFICIENCY ECONOMY.

Read it and laugh -or weep: http://blog.nationmultimedia.com/thanong/2010/03/21/entry-1
