When I read this comment today in the Bangkok Post, I suddenly realized that the Prime Minister apparently operates these days from inside an army base, almost as if he was a captive of the army:

"The anti-government group [UDD] plans to stage a rally today at the 11th Infantry Division to press the army to stop providing sanctuary for the prime minister. The military compound in Bang Khen district houses the Centre for Public Administration in Emergency Situations and the temporary homes of the prime minister, the deputy premier and some cabinet members."

What a strange situation.
