"Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva affirmed on Tuesday that he was not worried about a report that the Puea Pandin Party, a coalition partner, would allow its members to decide whether or not to vote in support of him and other ministers targeted by the censure motion.
"Each MP has the constitutional right to vote for or against the government. I will not phone the leaders of other political parties in the coalition as I believe in their stance," Mr Abhisit said.
The prime minister admitted that during the censure debate yesterday, there were attempts to convince the public that the government had tried to hunt down its political rivals and this would be a key obstacle in bringing about national reconciliation. He said the political branch must take part in the reconciliation roadmap, otherwise reconciliation would not be possible."
