"Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban said Monday that the state of emergency cannot be lifted now because red-shirt people in the country and abroad are still trying to cause turbulence. He said the state of emergency needs to be retained for the sake of public safety and order."The same old movement is still planning to cause turbulence. Both local people and those living abroad of the movement are still planning to do so," Suthep said.

He said when police and the military are confident that there will be no more trouble, the government will lift the state of emergency. "It won't be long for that," Suthep added."

My only question is whether people like Suthep are genuinely evil or just puppets in the hands of their controllers.
