10. San Diego, California

2. Maldives
3. Ko Lanta, Thailand
4. Khao Lak, Thailand
5. Ko Phangan, Thailand

It's been a number of years since I've been there, but I didn't think San Diego's beaches would be rated so highly, especially above Koh Lanta/Samui/Phangan etc.
And, it's surprising that none of Hawaii's beaches made the top 10.
