The bizarre PR campaign to hype the career of CRES spokesman, Colonel Sansern Kaewkamnerd, seems to have no limits. You may remember I posted a piece about the colonel a few weeks ago. He was the guy who appeared every night on all of the Thai TV channels like Big Brother to tell us what a great job the army was doing in controlling the terrorists.
Wel, here's the latest hype on the cover of LIPS, a Thai fashion magazine, featuring none other than the good colonel in civilian clothes. I am beginning to think that he's got a political career in mind when he retires. I guess you have to give this government's spin doctors some credit: putting a sexy face on military rule is not an easy job.
