Garbage crisis in Phuket

Phuket officials are struggling to prevent the island province from being drowned in garbage as an increasing amount of waste from new developments has placed the resort island in crisis.

The province's only waste incinerator has a 250 tonnes-a-day capacity, but Phuket is now generating 450 tonnes of garbage a day.

I hate to think where the extra garbage is being dumped !!!!!

Same place as Bangkok or Pattaya sewage. Take a swim and you'll see for yourself.
