What do you do all day?
I live in Thailand and I do not have to work anymore.
You cannot believe how boring I am.
Thanks to baht-Stop and to G.B. I can fill in some dots for a few hours a day.
Thanks to the Boys I can fill in another few hours a day.

Have you thought about wasting about 8 of those hours sleeping. On the other hand, if you are stiffffffffffffffffffffff you probably don't want to waste those hours sleeping.

"...hang of it" is probably not the best euphemism, but it is a great one!

For YeSiam, in your litany of facilities and equipment, you did not mention the following bare necessities as being in, or a part of, your room:
a rock band,
a line of dancing boys, (six dancing, two on relief)
a muay thai arena,
a steadily repeating DVD of Liberace playing and singing "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" while smiling through a set of buck teeth.
an ice bucket,
a motorbike taxi with a 16 year old kamikaze driver,
several small dark alcoves off the room with Sinatra singing "Strangers in the Night" in the background,
a jacuzzi,
and a corkscrew.
Christ man, no wonder you're bored. Without those essentials, who wouldn't be.

Let me try to be a little more serious and by the way thanks for helping me to improve my English.
I am not boring but I am bored.
Never to old to learn.

Ok, I should excercise that would give me a few hours a day to fill up my day.
Internet and Baht-Stop and G.B.( unfortunatly he doesn't post on this board anymore) fill in some dots for another few hours.
Cruising for sex thats another few hours but I do that only 3 times a week.
Going for dinner with friend ( three times a week)
Watching some t.v. ( one hour a day)
Sleeping 8 hours a day.

That gives me still a lot of hours that I don't know what to do with myself.
Unfortunatly I do not read books.

Maybe I should so some more sexercise.

You guys have any suggestions or telephone numbers from some real hotties !

beua/ber-aah = bored

Phom beua = I'm bored.

kwaam neuay-nai = boredom/listlessness (rather formal and you need to know how to use it properly in a sentence; stick to the above two for everyday speech)

Let me try to be a little more serious and by the way thanks for helping me to improve my English.

Okay, YeSiam, seriously, and I apologize for not taking you seriously before. I, too, am retired, pushing 70 so hard it is about to fall over, and spend two hours per day wishing I had more time.

Start a long term project. Some recommendations:

1.Your native language is not English. If it is also not Thai, and you are not the outdoors type, write some articles in your native language for magazines or on-line publishing about where you live. Researching it well should take up many hours. Writing and editing it will consume many more.

Example: What per cent of the boys who work Sunni Plaza have finished high school ?
You can do interviews, poll them, learn where they came from, why Pattaya as opposed to Phuket or Patpong? In the course of doing that, you might meet many hotties. Also, you might get inspired to get out and visit some of the real Thailand. Support your articles with photos. That will make it an easier sell. A 1200 word essay without using the letter 'e' should do it.

2. If you like the outdoors, learn something you haven't done before, like windsurfing, or scuba diving. Initially those hobbies are expensive, but if you come to like one, you buy your own equipment and the cost drops appreciably. Get a bicycle and take long trips. GT pedaled his ass around most of Thailand and had a great time.

3. Get yourself an activities partner. When it comes to enjoying life, two heads are infinitely better than one. It does not have to be a romantic partner, in fact it should not be. Friendships last far longer than romances. Once you get to know each other, you will come up with wonderful ideas.

4. Take a class in Thai. Then find a Thai boy to help you do homework, or take massage class and satisfy your teenage fantasies by getting indecent with the teacher.

5. There's no law that limits you to one retirement. I've done it twice and am working on my third career. Take some on-line courses.

Or waste away your hours on forums suggesting how other people should spend their lives.

I have no proof of this but I seriously suspect that most of the "flying farang " spent too much time alone. Mix and mingle.

Lucky me , I travel quiet a lot so almost 4 to 5 month I am busy exploring the world.
Its when I am in Thailand , I am so bored.
Ok I should do some excercise and I will start soon again.
I should start study Thai again but itis so hard to learn if you are over a certain age,
No I will not start another bizniss, I do not invest any money any-MORE in this country.
So the only tink I can think about is to do more sexercise.
I am quiet good in that, I almost would say I am perfect in that.
